This view of the famous Alki Point Lighthouse is from a short ways out on the water.  You can just make out the outline of Mount Rainier is the distance on the edge of the point.  I dont normally do this image in wood but I tried it and like both this version done in Clay, and the version made in a light colored birch.
 
The engraving is made in white Kaolin Clay and set in a shadow frame of light colored pine.  There is a set of Command Strips for hanging, along with a wire hanger set and pads installed.
